Starting in Drasenhofen, the Way of St. James in the Weinviertel region leads to Poysdorf, Austria's wine city and via Mistelbach, the pilgrims reach the Weinviertel region's highest point, Mount Buschberg. At Mount Michelberg, one can experience pretty insights, while the speciality district wine shop provides great views of the fertile wine growing landscape. The proximity to Krems lets the spirits fly high, for here, after a 6-day pilgrimage, the first stage comes to an end. Also, the city serves as a connection point to the Way of St. James Göttweig-Melk.
